| How It All Went Down: | Soon after I had moved to Vegas for the summer with a few friends, we found out that Dennis Rodman was having his birthday party at The Joint located inside The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We got tickets and met a number of celebrities, musicians and professional athletes there including Mike Tyson, Shaq, the band Live, Dennis Rodman (of course), Dennis Haskins and Carmen Electra. The majority of the attention from the attendees was focused on Dennis Rodman and his wife, at the time, Carmen Electra, so it was pretty difficult to meet them. However, later in the night, Carmen was walking with a couple of large men through the casino and we found our chance to meet her. My buddy asked her if she would be willing to take a picture with a couple of good 'ol boys from Ohio and she was pleased to do so (she is also from Ohio). She posed between us and took an excellent picture. Rumor also has it that she had a hankerin' for some good old Midwestern beef and got a handful of both of our rump roasts. We thanked her for the picture and she thanked us for the buns... I guess everyone walked away happy! |
